Pimpri, Pune (March 6, 2025) – Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) is set to organize a massive rally in Pimpri Chinchwad for the first time, marking the party’s 19th anniversary. The event will take place at Professor Ramkrishna More Auditorium in Chinchwad on Sunday, March 9, at 9:30 AM, with MNS Chief Raj Thackeray inaugurating the gathering. MNS leader Bala Nandgaonkar shared this information during a press conference in Pimpri on Wednesday.

Senior MNS leaders, including Rajendra alias Babu Wagaskar, city president Sachin Chikhale, women’s wing president Seema Belapurkar, secretary Rupesh Patekar, and vice presidents Raju Sawale, Bala Danavle, and Vishal Mankari, were present at the conference.

Nandgaonkar highlighted that this is the first time Raj Thackeray will be present in Pimpri Chinchwad for the anniversary celebrations. He will guide party workers on restructuring MNS and appointing new leaders during the event.

He also criticized Abu Azmi, stating that he deliberately makes controversial statements to stay in the limelight and portray himself as a protector of the Muslim community. Nandgaonkar supported the demand for legal action against Azmi. When questioned about Dhananjay Munde’s resignation, he remarked that Munde is functioning as a secondary engine in the BJP-led government under Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar’s leadership. He recalled that when allegations were made against BJP veteran L.K. Advani, he resigned immediately, emphasizing BJP’s historical precedent.

Furthermore, Nandgaonkar demanded strict legal action from the Home Minister and Chief Minister against Rahul Solapurkar and Koratkar for making inappropriate remarks about Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

He confirmed that all preparations for the March 9 rally in Chinchwad are complete and that MNS will begin its state-wide organizational restructuring with renewed enthusiasm.
