Pune: Rajveer Priya Amit Suryavanshi Wins National Gold Medal And Best Boxer Honor
Pune: Rajveer Priya Amit Suryavanshi has won the gold medal and the prestigious “Best Boxer” title at the CBSE Boxing National Competition 2023-2024, held in Kanina Khaskarkala (Haryana). The competition took place from October 16 to 20, 2024, where Rajveer triumphed in the 50-52 kg weight category for boys under 17.
A student of Delhi Public School (Pune), Rajveer received his boxing training at the MIGS Pune club. He was guided by coaches Mrunal Bhosale, Rohan Jagdale, Umesh Jagdale, Mangesh Yadav, Harikishan Belwal, Jaysing Patil, Arjun Negi, Mohammad Arif, Vijay Sharma, and Siddharth Verma.
Rajveer was congratulated by several dignitaries including Adv. Rupali Patil-Thombre, Ajay Darade, former councilor Yuvraj Beldare, Dr. Santosh Talekar, Avinash Bagwe, Bharat Vaval, Madan Vani, Abhimanyu Suryavanshi, Amol Sonawane, Vijay Gujar, and others, along with parents, students, and the MIGS community.
