Pune: Ravet Resident Devyani Kawale Selected For Divisional Pistol Shooting Championship
Pimpri, October 12, 2025: Devyani Ashish Kawale, a student of S.B. Patil Public School, Ravet, under Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust, has been selected for the divisional-level pistol shooting competition (under-17 category).
The district-level school pistol shooting competition for the 2025–26 academic year was jointly organized by the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation and the Pune Zilla Parishad at Swami Vivekanand Krida Sankul, Chikhali. Students from various schools participated and displayed their shooting skills.
In the under-17 category, Devyani scored an impressive 352 out of 400 points, securing third place. Her outstanding performance earned her qualification for the upcoming divisional-level championship.
She trained under the guidance of Principal Dr. Bindu Saini, Vice Principal Padmavati Banda, and sports teacher Dhanaji Patil.
Pimpri Chinchwad Education Trust Chairman Dnyaneshwar Landge, Vice Chairperson Padmatai Bhosale, Secretary Vitthal Kalbhor, Treasurer Shantaram Garade, Trustees Harshvardhan Patil, Entrepreneurs Narendra Landge and Ajinkya Kalbhor, and Executive Director Dr. Girish Desai congratulated Devyani and extended their best wishes for her future competitions.
