Anil Dounde, the official from the Building and Construction Department, has directed the removal of all unauthorized and hazardous advertisements like hoardings, sky signs, boards, banners, and flexes in the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) area by July 31. This instruction involves the cooperation of owners, landowners, developers, and advertising agencies, as per the latest update.
In the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority’s area, a total of 857 proposals have been submitted by sky sign, board, banner, and flex holders. The holders of elevated advertisement structures will also submit proposals for approval. Out of the proposals sent to the Development Approval Department, 410 board, banner, and flex holders have been advised to correct any errors. Failure to rectify these errors within the specified time frame will result in their eviction under the authority’s jurisdiction.
Dounde has made it clear that the sky signs, boards, banners, and flex holders in the area must take down their unauthorized and hazardous advertisements by July 31. If they fail to do so, they will face eviction as per the authorities’ instructions.
