Pune: Residents Of Shonest Tower In Wakad Mark Navratri With Ten-Day Cultural Fest
Wakad, October 4, 2025 – The residents of Shonest Tower in Wakad celebrated Navratri with great enthusiasm through a vibrant ten-day festival organized by the Shonest Tower Cultural Group from September 22 to October 1.
The festivities began with traditional rituals including Pooja, Arti, and Stapna of the idol. Each evening, the venue came alive with energetic Garba performances, drawing active participation from children, youth, and senior citizens alike. A special highlight of the celebration was the large decorative flex of Shri Navdurga, which added grandeur to the event.
Shonest Tower Chairman, Nilesh Khobragade, said the celebration symbolized togetherness and harmony within the community and also served as a tribute to women’s dedication and strength.
The Cultural Group extended gratitude to Chairman Nilesh Khobragade, Secretary Yogesh Karanje, Treasurer Jagtap Kaka, and the Culture Wing for leading the efforts. Special appreciation was also given to the manager, security staff, housekeeping team, and electrician for their support in ensuring smooth arrangements.
The nine-day festival concluded on October 1 with residents rejoicing in the spirit of unity and devotion.
