Pune Ring Road Project Kicks Off With Groundwork On 24.5 KM Stretch Connecting Pune Nagar Road To Solapur Highway Â
Pune, December 2, 2024: The much-awaited Pune Ring Road project, a landmark infrastructure initiative aimed at revolutionizing connectivity in Pune, has commenced with the groundwork of the Eastern Phase. The contract for a 24.5 km stretch connecting Pune Nagar Road and Solapur Highway has been awarded to Roadway Solution India Infra Ltd., which has already set up operations at Wadebolhai village near Kesnand.
Today, The project inauguration included a traditional pooja and ceremony attended by notable dignitaries, including Mr. Ameet Gadhoke, Managing Director of Roadway Solution Infra, B K Singh, Director of Roadway India Infra, Kunal Gupta , Vishal Ghule Patil local politicians, and villagers. More than 100 excavators and machinery have been deployed to ensure rapid progress on this phase once the Govt. of Maharashtra officially inaugurates the project.
“The Pune Ring Road project, spanning approximately 170 km, is divided into four phases and comes with an estimated budget of ₹42,000 crores. Designed to decongest Pune’s roads and improve regional connectivity, the project is poised to be a game-changer for the city’s infrastructure and economic growth.
The official groundbreaking ceremony for the Pune Ring Road is scheduled to take place after December 5, 2024,” informed BK Singh
