Pune: Road Closure At Dive Ghat On September 12, Alternative Routes Announced
Pune, September 11 (JIMAKA News Service): The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) is carrying out road widening work on Package 6 of the Alandi–Pandharpur Palkhi Highway (NH-965), between Hadapsar and Dive Ghat. As part of the project, blasting work in rocky terrain is being undertaken under police supervision.
Due to this, traffic at Dive Ghat will remain closed on Friday, September 12, from 11 am to 2 pm. Commuters have been urged to use alternative routes during this period.
The suggested routes for motorists include:
* Katraj–Bopdev Ghat (State Highway 131) via Saswad
* Khed Shivapur–Saswad Link Road via Saswad
* Kapurhol–Narayanpur (State Highway 119) via Saswad
* Hadapsar–Uruli Kanchan–Shindwane Ghat (State Highway 61) via Saswad
Project Director S.S. Kadam of NHAI, PIU Pune, appealed to motorists to cooperate by using these routes for safety. He further informed that traffic will be closed on future days when similar blasting work is scheduled, and motorists should extend cooperation then as well.
