Pune : Rohan Mithila 1 Housing Society, Viman Nagar Comes Together For A Successful Donation Drive

The residents of Rohan Mithila Phase 1, under the #SustainableMithila & #MithilaCare initiative, came together to organize a highly successful donation drive aimed at helping those in need. The drive, which was launched on the Independence Day 15 August 2023, saw an outpouring of generosity and solidarity, showcasing the power of unity within the society.

The initiative was conceived by a newly elected management committee under the guidance & support from Chairman Adv. Sudhakar Auti and Secretory Reshma Vaykar, along with a group of dedicated individuals within the housing society who felt the need to make a positive impact on the lives of less fortunate members of their community.

The donation drive was a multifaceted event that catered to various needs of the less privileged. Residents were encouraged to contribute items such as Clothes, Toys and Books. Additionally, e-waste was also accepted, for efficient recycling of environmentally hazardous materials.

One of the standout features of the donation drive was its inclusivity. Residents of all ages, from children to seniors, actively participated in collecting, sorting, and packaging the donations. The response from the residents of Rohan Mithila 1 was nothing short of remarkable. People opened their hearts and contributed generously to the cause. The society’s common area was transformed into a bustling hub of activity as volunteers worked diligently to sort and organize the donations.

The event culminated on 10-Sep-23 with the distribution of the collected items to RM1 Housekeeping team, Security, Gardening and Maids. The recipients expressed their gratitude and appreciation for the society’s efforts.

Pravin Bansal, one of the driving forces behind the donation drive, expressed his joy at the overwhelming success of the event. He said, “We are delighted with the way our housing society has come together to support this noble cause. It’s heart-warming to see how much we can achieve when we unite for a common purpose. We hope to make this a tradition and continue to make a positive impact on our community.”
