Pune, March 6, 2025 – In a coordinated effort to enforce traffic regulations, Flying Squads No. 3 and No. 4, along with the police, conducted a joint operation at Shivajinagar Bus Stand. The action targeted violations in the 200-meter no-parking zone and other transport-related infractions.

During the operation, Squad No. 4 penalized 30 vehicles and seized six for violations related to illegal passenger transport, permits, insurance, badges, licenses, and uniform compliance. A total fine of ₹1,15,000 was collected.

Similarly, Squad No. 3 took action against 22 vehicles and impounded eight for infractions, including the use of dazzling lights, pressure horns, missing logbooks, and uniform violations. The total penalty imposed was ₹2,00,200.

The combined enforcement resulted in fines amounting to ₹3,15,200. The crackdown aimed at enhancing passenger safety and ensuring strict adherence to transport regulations. The inspection was carried out under the supervision of Motor Vehicle Inspectors Prashant Thorat, Nilesh Bansode, Bhagyashree Patil, and Kanchan Aware.
