Pune: School Staffer Electrocuted While Washing Bus In Kondhwa, FIR Lodged Against Three Persons
A tragic incident occurred on October 18 at Sinhagad City school located in Tilekar nagar, Kondhwa, Pune, when a staffer, Santosh Pandurang Malvadkar (49), died due to electrocution while washing a school bus. Malvadkar, a resident of Pisoli, was found unconscious and taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
An investigation revealed that Malvadkar received an electric shock when he came into contact with a faulty compressor and wiring while washing the bus. The police have booked three persons on the charges of negligence as per section 106 (3) (5) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
Police stated that the school authorities failed to oversee proper maintenance of the bus, leading to the incident. Malvadkar’s wife lodged the FIR in this case at Kondhwa police station on Saturday .
