Pune, October 15, 2025: A 60-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the fourth floor of the Shivajinagar District and Sessions Court building on Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as Namdev Jadhav, a resident of Wadki.

According to police sources, Jadhav left behind a suicide note in which he mentioned a civil case that had been pending since 1998. The note reportedly stated that he was deeply distressed and frustrated due to the prolonged delay in getting justice despite his repeated efforts over the years.

Preliminary investigations indicate that mental distress caused by the decades-long legal battle may have pushed him to take this extreme step.
