Pune: Shobha Mulye’s Housewarming Transforms Into Inspiring Art And Poetry Showcase
Pune, July 21, 2025: In a refreshing blend of tradition and creativity, Shobha Mulye’s housewarming ceremony turned into a unique cultural experience with an art exhibition and poetry confluence that celebrated the deep connection between art and daily life.
The concept was the brainchild of Mulye’s granddaughter, Vallari Desai, who envisioned the idea of transforming their new home into an intimate gallery space. The initiative received wholehearted support from the family and was lauded by Pune’s art fraternity for its originality.
Esteemed Pune artists Sharad Tarde and Suchita Tarde curated the event, describing it as “a profound dedication to art” that fosters meaningful engagement with creativity in domestic spaces. Senior artist Sudhakar Chavan inaugurated the exhibition, commending the effort as an inspiring model for integrating art into everyday living.
The showcase features works by talented artists including Chetna Sudame, Vikram Marathe, Ashwini Dorge, Dipti Pandit, Priti Anand, Priti Desai, and Yash Chawardol. Their artworks range from striking contemporary pieces to poetic reflections on culture and nature, offering visitors a rich visual experience.
Distinguished guests such as Suhas Ekbote, eminent artist Shrikant Kadam, and several noted personalities from Pune’s art community attended the inauguration and encouraged the participating artists for their contributions.
