Pune Social Group and Neeta Care Foundation Join Hands for a Noble Cause
On February 19, Pune Social Group and Neeta Care Foundation celebrated Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Jayanti by distributing over 1,000 food packets (Masala Bhat) to underprivileged individuals at Jai bhavani Nagar, Kothrud area. This philanthropic initiative embodied the spirit of kindness and community service that defines both organizations.
Pune Social Group (PSG) is a vibrant community platform where like-minded individuals connect, socialize, and collaborate to make a positive impact. Founded by Swaroop Roy on February 1, 2023, PSG began with 99 members and has since grown exponentially to over 2,000 members on Facebook and 500 members on WhatsApp. By fostering meaningful connections and promoting social responsibility.
Neeta Care Foundation is a central government NGO run by Pallavi Gadgil and Sameer Gadgil, the foundation focuses on charitable works, providing essential services and support to underprivileged communities.
Founder of Pune Social Group Swaroop Roy said, every month Pune Social Group is doing different types of Charity works like Financial helps to cancer patients, Food raw materials donation to orphanages and old age homes, Clothes donation to orphanages and shelter homes. In coming days we are planning to do Blood donation camp, Tree plantation drive, Note book distribution for poor people and many more.
Swaroop Roy and his PSG team, Niral Desai, Priya Desai Ria Chauhan, Neha Aher, Janhavi Sonar, Rashmi Nair, Sameer Gadgil, Samrat Singh Khutal, Adv. Rajesh Tejwani and Swaroop Kulkarni are taking the leadership and encouraging people to be a part of all these noble causes.
