Pune, 12 September 2025: The inaugural STRIDE 2025 Seminar on “Synergy of Technology, Research & Defence Ecosystem” was successfully organised by Southern Command at RSAMI, Pune. The event brought together distinguished experts from the Armed Forces, Veterans, Scholars, Government Officials, DRDO, Public Sector Undertakings, Private Industry, and Academia with the aim of charting a roadmap for an indigenous defence ecosystem covering R&D, production, maintenance, and innovation.


The seminar was enriched by the presence of the Defence Secretary, Rajesh Kumar Singh, IAS, who delivered a keynote address underscoring national security priorities and the pivotal role of technology-led transformation. In his address, Lt Gen Dhiraj Seth, PVSM, AVSM, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief, Southern Command, highlighted the importance of a Whole-of-Nation Approach to achieve self-reliance in defence capabilities.
