Pune: Special PMPML Bus Service For Sawai Gandharva Festival: Routes and Timings Announced

Pune: Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) has introduced special bus services for the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav. The buses will operate at night from December 18 to December 22, ensuring convenient transportation for music enthusiasts attending the event, according to PMPML authorities.

The 70th edition of the Sawai Gandharva Bhimsen Mahotsav will take place at the Maharashtriya Mandal Sports Complex in Mukundnagar. To facilitate the commute for attendees from Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad, PMPML has arranged for special late-night buses. A 25% additional fare will be charged for return journeys after the conclusion of the festival’s programs.

The buses will operate from Mukundnagar at 10:30 PM on December 18, 19, 20, and 22. On December 21, the service will commence at 12:30 AM.

1. Mukundnagar to Nigdi Bhakti Shakti
   Route: Dandekar Bridge, Deccan, Bakedewadi, Kasarwadi, Pimpri, Chinchwad Bus Station.
2. Mukundnagar to Dhayari Maruti Mandir
   Route: Dandekar Bridge, Vitthalwadi, Anandnagar, Vadgaon Phata, Dhayari Village.
3. Mukundnagar to Kothrud Depot
   Route: Tilak Road, Deccan Corner, Paud Phata, Jaybhavani Nagar, Vanaz Company.
4. Mukundnagar to Warje Malwadi
   Route: Deccan Corner, Paud Phata, Kothrud Bus Station, Gandhi Bhavan, Karvenagar.

PMPML’s initiative aims to provide hassle-free and reliable transportation for music lovers attending the iconic festival.
