Christmas brings cheer and love to all and the G-Area, St. Paul’s Community of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Pune which comprises of 7 Societies namely Dayanand Gardens, Ishanand, Kumar Parag, Silver Valley, Shivanand Garden & Om Tulsi, celebrated it on 18th December, 2024 at Silver Valley Co-operative Housing Society’s open space along the road. The venue was well decorated and a large number of residents of these societies attended.
The objective of the celebration was to spread the message of Love, Harmony, Peace and Brotherhood. Besides singing carols and enacting the nativity, there was a Cultural program where small groups of members of children and elders were dressed in the traditional attire of 10 different states of India, and each one danced and sang the carols in the native languages of these states, one group at a time. The audience was amazed with each performance and joyfully applauded the same.

Fr. Sylvester Kharkongor graced the occasion and delivered a message on the actual meaning of Christmas. An invite was given to the office bearers of six societies, all those who could make it were thanked and felicitated in recognition for the good work they are doing for the society they represent.
Apart from the above, a team of young ladies entertained the audience with a graceful dance performance.
The 2 and half hours get-together concluded after distribution of snacks and coffee to all. The 12-Member Core Committee of the G-Area, St. Paul’s Community did a fabulous job to organize this event.
