Pune Stakeholders Meet To Accelerate Multi-Modal Logistics Park Development With Focus On Talegaon
Pune, July 29, 2025 — A high-level meeting convened at the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI), Forging Industry Division in Chakan, focused on the development of a Multi‑Modal Logistics Park (MMLP) for Pune. Present were senior representatives from National Highways Logistics Management Ltd (NHLML), the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MoRTH), and key industry stakeholders.
Key Highlights:
The attendees discussed the MMLP project recently approved by the Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs, aimed at strengthening Pune’s logistics infrastructure and enhancing regional transport efficiency

NHLML, a wholly owned subsidiary of the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI), has been tasked with implementing the project under a public–private partnership on a design‑build‑finance‑operate‑transfer (DBFOT) basis.
The proposed logistics park in Talegaon will include integrated road and rail connectivity and a comprehensive master plan, envisioned to catalyse economic growth across the region.
