Pune: Temporary Traffic Closure At Dive Ghat For NH 965 Widening; Commuters Advised To Use Alternate Routes
Pune, August 7, 2025: As part of the widening work under Package 6 of the Alandi to Pandharpur Palkhi National Highway (NH 965), the Indian National Highways Authority (NHAI) has begun road expansion from Hadapsar to Dive Ghat. To complete the Palkhi route widening on time, controlled rock blasting is being carried out under the supervision of the police.
On the days when blasting is scheduled, traffic through Dive Ghat will be completely shut from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Commuters traveling via Dive Ghat from either side are requested to use alternative routes during this period.
Suggested alternate routes include:
- Katraj–Bopdev Ghat (State Highway 131) via Saswad
- Khedshivapur–Saswad Link Road via Saswad
- Kapurhol–Narayanpur (State Highway 119) via Saswad
- Hadapsar–Uruli Kanchan–Shindwane Ghat (State Highway 61) via Saswad
