Pimpri-Chinchwad: Three Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in Talegaon, Pune, were arrested by the Anti-Terrorism Cell (ATC) of the Talegaon MIDC Police Station. This action follows repeated instances of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants residing within the jurisdiction of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate.

The arrested individuals, identified as Hossain Sheikh, Monirul Gazi, and Amirul Sana, were living in a rented room in the Navlakh Umbre area near a water tank. Upon receiving confidential information about three Bengali-speaking individuals suspected of being Bangladeshis, the police verified the details and conducted a raid in the presence of witnesses.

During the investigation, it was revealed that they were originally from the Satkhira district of Bangladesh. They were found in possession of fake Aadhaar cards, PAN cards, birth certificates from West Bengal, Indian e-Shram cards, as well as Bangladeshi passports and birth certificates. Further scrutiny of their mobile phones showed they had been making calls to various numbers in Bangladesh.
