Pune to Prayagraj: Special Bharat Gaurav Train for 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela to Depart January 15

A special Bharat Gaurav train will depart from Pune for the 2025 Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on January 15 at 10 PM, according to IRCTC Tourism Manager Subhash Nair. This initiative is part of the Central Government’s Dekho Apna Desh program, which has successfully operated 86 trains across the country to promote domestic tourism.

Another train for the Kumbh Mela is also scheduled to leave from Pune on the same day. During a press conference at Pune Railway Station, Pune Division Regional Manager Gururaj Sonna provided additional details about the service.

Nair highlighted that the train will be equipped with modern amenities, including security personnel, CCTV surveillance, and food services. A tent city with essential facilities will be available at the Kumbh Mela site to accommodate pilgrims.

The journey, lasting seven nights and eight days, will cover key destinations such as Pune, Varanasi, Prayagraj, and Ayodhya. The train will include seven sleeper coaches, three third-AC coaches, one second-AC coach, and a pantry car. Passengers are encouraged to utilize this convenient travel option to experience the grand religious event.
