Pune: Traffic Diversion In Pimpri-Chinchwad's Pimple Gurav On October 6. Know The Routes.
Pimpri-Chinchwad, October 4, 2025 – The Pimpri-Chinchwad Traffic Department has announced temporary traffic restrictions and diversions on October 6, 2025, due to heavy crowding expected during the Durga idol immersion procession at Tuljabhavani Temple, Pimple Gurav, on Kojagiri Purnima.
According to the notification issued by DCP (Traffic) Vivek Patil, traffic movement around key routes will be restricted from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm.
Traffic restrictions:
- All types of vehicles will be prohibited from traveling from Bank of Maharashtra Chowk, Pimple Gurav, towards Tuljabhavani Temple near Bhairavnath Gate.
Alternative Route: Vehicles can take a right turn from Bank of Maharashtra Chowk via Kashi Vishweshwar Chowk to reach their destination. - Vehicles from Srishti Chowk towards Bhairavnath Gate via Tuljabhavani Temple will not be allowed.
Alternative Route: Vehicles can move straight from Srishti Chowk via 60-Feet Road towards Ramkrishna Mangal Karyalaya Chowk, Pimple Gurav.
Citizens are requested to cooperate with the traffic police and use the designated alternative routes for smooth and safe traffic management during the event.
