Pune Traffic Police Announces Temporary Traffic Diversions In Viman Nagar
Pune: Traffic Diversion On Fergusson College Road For Garware Bridge Repairs On October 3
Pune, February 4, 2025: To ensure smooth and safe traffic flow, temporary traffic diversions have been implemented in the Viman Nagar area of Pune. The Viman Nagar Junction (near Phoenix Mall) to Somnath Nagar Chowk has been temporarily closed on a trial basis to facilitate a circular traffic pattern.
Vehicles traveling from Viman Nagar towards Pune must now turn left at the Viman Nagar Junction and take a U-turn at Somnath Nagar Chowk to reach their destination. Similarly, vehicles coming from Nagar towards Pune and heading towards Phoenix Mall, Viman Nagar, should take a U-turn in front of the Agnibaz Gate to proceed to their desired location.
Citizens who have any suggestions or objections regarding these changes are encouraged to submit them in writing to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic Control Branch, near Yerwada Post Office, Bungalow No. 6, Airport Road, Pune, by February 15, 2025.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Amol Zende stated that the final traffic orders will be issued after considering public feedback, with exceptions made for emergency service vehicles.
