Pune, September 24, 2025 – The Vimantal police arrested two men for allegedly kidnapping their employer’s three-year-old daughter after being terminated from their jobs. The child was safely rescued in a swift operation carried out late Monday night.

According to police, the girl’s father, Kumar Pruthvichand Paswan (26), works as a supervisor at a construction site in Pune. The accused, identified as Prince Sanjal Pal (21) and Omnarayan Chotelal Paswan (20), were employed as labourers under him. After repeated complaints about misconduct and poor performance, the two were dismissed. Angered by the decision, they allegedly targeted Paswan’s young daughter in an act of revenge.

On Monday afternoon, the accused abducted the girl from near her residence in Viman Nagar and boarded a Mumbai-bound Indrayani Express. The family immediately lodged a complaint, following which the police registered a kidnapping case. A special team was formed to trace the child.
