MSEDCL’s Say :

Around 9:41 AM on Monday, two unidentified individuals were found dead near MSEDCL’s (MahaVitaran’s) power equipment close to Bremen Chowk, according to information received by MahaVitaran from the police. The deceased were discovered at the Ring Main Unit (RMU) of the Siddharthnagar feeder in a suspicious condition. The exact reason for their presence at the location will be revealed through the ongoing police investigation. It is yet to be determined whether their deaths were caused by electrocution or other reasons; this will only be confirmed after the post-mortem report.

Since the bodies were found near MahaVitaran’s infrastructure, the company immediately informed the electrical inspector. A formal inspection was carried out, and the report is expected soon.

For safety reasons, the power lines had to be temporarily shut down, resulting in financial loss to MahaVitaran and inconvenience to electricity consumers in the area for a brief period, the utility said.
