Pune Viral Video: Man Climbs Tree Near Hadapsar Police Station, Demands Meeting With CM
Pune, March 22: A mentally challenged man climbed a banyan tree near Hadapsar Police Station on Saturday morning, demanding a meeting with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, officials said.
The individual has been identified as Sachin Haribhau Jadhav (31), a resident of Ahmednagar district.
The incident occurred around 9 AM, prompting immediate action from authorities.

“As soon as the man climbed the tree and made his demand, the fire brigade was alerted while the Hadapsar police staff attempted to bring him down. Before the fire brigade arrived, he jumped from the tree, sustaining minor hand injuries. He was immediately shifted to Sassoon General Hospital for treatment, and his relatives have been informed,” an official stated.
Authorities suspect that Jadhav’s mental health condition led to his demand to meet the Chief Minister.
A further investigation is underway, officials confirmed.
