Pune, July 25, 2025: A consumer from Wakad has raised serious concerns over hygiene and product quality at a local Swiggy Instamart outlet from Wakad after allegedly receiving a mouse-nibbled oats packet with their recent order.
The customer placed the order through Swiggy’s Instamart service and was shocked to find that the oats packet appeared to have been gnawed by a rodent. The incident reportedly occurred at the Swiggy Instamart store located in Wakad.
Expressing frustration, the consumer shared, “I received an oats packet that had been nibbled by a mouse. This is disgusting and unacceptable.” The individual also claimed that this wasn’t the first time they faced an issue with the same outlet. “Earlier, I had received expired milk packets from this store. I went there and got them replaced, but didn’t raise a complaint that time,” the customer added.
The matter has now been complained to the Food and Drugs Authority too by the consumer.
No official response from Swiggy was available at the time of publishing.
