Pune, September 1, 2025: In a dramatic turn of events, Wanowrie Police arrested two men who disguised themselves as women to commit a theft at a transformer company in the Ramtekdi Industrial Area, Hadapsar.

The incident occurred on August 26, between 1:43 am and 3:00 am, when the suspects, identified as Aman Sheikh and Abbu Sheikh, allegedly broke the window pane of the CEO’s cabin and stole copper wire along with other valuables worth ₹2.19 lakh.

Police initially faced difficulty identifying the culprits as they were dressed like women to mislead investigators. However, detailed analysis of CCTV footage and information from informers helped confirm their identities.
