Pune Weather Update: IMD predicts temp fall below 10 degrees Celsius

Pune: Cold will remain in North Maharashtra and Vidarbha for the next five days. Currently, the minimum temperature in Pune has dropped to 13.3 degrees Celsius.

As per information, the cold weather will continue over Vidarbha and North Maharashtra for the next five days due to the continued influence of cold winds from the north.

Evaporative winds coming from Southern India are expected to increase the minimum temperature over Konkan Coast, South Maharashtra, Madhya Maharashtra and parts of Marathwada. The weather is likely to remain dry for the next five days with fog at night or early morning.

Meanwhile, as diseases like Coronavirus are resurfacing, the Meteorological Department and the government have called upon the citizens to take care of their health.

Earlier in the state, in several parts of the state, including Pashan, where the minimum temperature fell to 10.4°C on Wednesday morning, it was the coldest place in Pune this winter .

On Wednesday, single-digit minimum temperatures were recorded at least five times in the state, all of which are in Vidarbha. On Wednesday, the minimum temperature in Gondia was 9.2°C, while in Chandrapur it was 9.4°C. Along with Washim, Nagpur’s minimum temperature on Wednesday was 9.8°C. Yavatmal was the coldest place in the state on Wednesday, with 8.7°C.
