Weather Update: Rainfall Predicted Across Maharashtra On Tuesday; Yellow Alert Issued For 12 Districts

Pune- The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast at 2:30 PM IST today, alerting citizens of Maharashtra and Pune to take necessary precautions.
According to IMD, thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and a light to moderate rainfall with gusty winds of up to 40-50 kmph. They are foreseen to hit areas of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Solapur, Dharashiv, Kolhapur, and Pune in the next few hours.
The residents of these regions in particular are advised to not go outdoors unless required and take necessary precautions to keep themselves protected. All are requested to stay indoors and take out any loose objects that may get blown away. Citizens can get further updates from IMD or local authorities.
