Pune: Yerwada Metro Station Set To Open From August 15

There is good news for commuters eagerly awaiting the opening of the Yerwada Metro Station. Hemant Sonawane, Executive Director (Administration and Public Relations) at Maha Metro, mentioned that the Yerwada Metro Station is likely to open on August 15.

Sonawane mentioned, ‘The work is completed, and we will proceed accordingly.’ The station was initially planned to be operational in May, but due to the model code of conduct during the Lok Sabha elections, work on entry and exit gates was paused.”

Locals were unhappy with the initial construction of the entry and exit points, expressing concerns about possible traffic problems. As a result, it was decided to reconstruct these points.

Sonawane mentioned that the Swargate Metro Station is planned to be operational by September 15.
