Pune: Young Man Electrocuted While Talking on Mobile; Incident in Moshi Area
Pune: A tragic incident occurred in the Jadhavwadi area of Moshi, where a young man lost his life after accidentally grabbing a live electrical wire while talking on his mobile phone. The deceased has been identified as Rambrij Harisingh Tegore, a 22-year-old resident of Padwal Nagar, Thergaon.
According to Senior Inspector Ganesh Jamdar of the MIDC Police Station, the incident took place on Sunday, August 11. Rambrij had come to Jadhavwadi in the morning to work on a flooring project. At around 11 a.m., he received a phone call and stepped into the gallery to take it. While speaking on the phone, he inadvertently touched an electrical wire that was passing in front of the house.
The contact resulted in a severe electric shock, causing Rambrij to collapse on the spot. He sustained serious burns and was immediately rushed to the hospital. However, doctors declared him dead before treatment could begin.
This unfortunate incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers of electrical wires in residential areas.
