Pune Zilla Parishad’s ‘Coffee with CEO’ Second Edition Highlights Teachers’ Role in Rising Enrollments
Pune, September 17, 2025: The Pune Zilla Parishad hosted the second edition of its interactive initiative, ‘Coffee with CEO’, on Monday, providing a platform for teachers and education stakeholders to engage directly with Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Gajanan Patil.
Unlike the first session held on August 22, which spotlighted students selected for the prestigious NASA exposure visit, this edition shifted the focus to educators. The event gave teachers an opportunity to present updates and share experiences from their schools.
One of the key highlights that emerged was a notable rise in student enrollments across Zilla Parishad schools. Teachers credited the success to the Pune Model School Programme, which emphasizes innovative teaching methods, quality education, and an inclusive learning environment. They also pointed to a reverse trend of students migrating back from private English-medium schools to ZP schools, impressed by the structured approach and improved standards.

“The initiative is not just about recognition. It’s about creating a space where teachers can voice their opinions, share what works, and help shape the future of education in our district,” said CEO Patil.
The interactive format has not only strengthened dialogue between educators and administrators but also underscored the positive transformation of Zilla Parishad schools in Pune district.
