The song “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava” was a big moment in Samantha’s 14-year acting career. It was her first ‘item number’ and became a highlight in Allu Arjun’s hit movie “Pushpa: The Rise” (2021). There was a buzz when it was mentioned that Shraddha Kapoor, who has been enjoying success with “Stree 2”, would have a similar special song in the sequel.
This news divided opinions online, with some thinking it could be a game changer for Shraddha, while others doubted she wouldn’t be able to match Samantha. However, it’s now confirmed that Shraddha is no longer involved in the project. According to reports from Koimoi, Shraddha was in discussions with the makers of “Pushpa 2: The Rule” for a special song with Allu Arjun. Unfortunately, the negotiations didn’t work out, as Shraddha demanded ₹5 crores, the same amount Samantha received for “Oo Antava Oo Oo Antava”. The makers of Pushpa 2 declined Shraddha’s request, leading to the deal falling through.
So, guess who Allu Arjun will be dancing with now? Well, the latest buzz is that the producers reached out to Samantha and got her on board for another potential hit song. But wait, there’s more! Samantha and Allu Arjun will be joined by the stunning Sreeleela, known for her role opposite Mahesh Babu in the Telugu action film Guntur Kaaram. Even though Shraddha’s departure might disappoint some fans, this new casting combination is definitely something to look forward to.
