YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and his girlfriend were caught in a powerful underwater current while swimming in Goa.
YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia, known as BeerBiceps, recently disclosed a near-drowning experience he had while swimming in the sea in Goa on Christmas Eve. He was saved by an IPS officer and his IRS wife. Ranveer took to Instagram to share the details of this alarming incident. He recounted that while swimming in the open water with his girlfriend, they were caught in a strong current, causing him to feel as though he was losing consciousness. On December 24, he and his girlfriend almost drowned after going under a current.

Allahabadia pasted the sunflower emoji in several pictures to obscure his girlfriend’s face. While many of his worried fans expressed gratitude for his well-being, a handful were more intrigued by his romantic partner.
“We’re perfectly fine & well now. But yesterday at 6:00 pm or so, my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation. Yesterday we got swept away by an underwater current.
This has happened to me before but I’ve never been alongside a companion. It’s easy to swim out of one alone. It’s very hard to pull someone out with you. After a 5-10 minute struggle, we called for help and were promptly rescued by a family of 5 swimming nearby. There was a point during the ordeal when I swallowed a lot of water and started fading away a little bit. That’s when I decided to shout for help.” Allahabadia said in his post.
There has been much speculation regarding the enigmatic identity of his partner, with some humorously proposing that he may choose to unveil her face only during a momentous occasion, such as a wedding.
“This experience left us feeling both blank as well as grateful. We felt the protection of God throughout the incident. As we moved into today’s Christmas, we’re simply full of gratitude for being alive. Almost feel like this one life experience has changed my perspective towards living. Writing this because I’ve always shared these moments with you all. Full of emotion and gratitude today. A deep thank you and big hugs to each one of you reading this,” he adds.
Allahbadia has opted to maintain the confidentiality of his girlfriend’s identity. This decision follows a recent incident where the YouTuber found himself at the center of a highly publicized love declaration from a fan. The admirer, a content creator focused on spirituality and a veterinarian, showcased her affection for him through a series of videos on Instagram, expressing her feelings in a remarkable manner.
