In what comes as a huge surprise for fans, actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna have reportedly got engaged. According to media reports, the secret engagement ceremony took place on October 3, 2025, in the presence of close family members and a handful of friends.
The popular on-screen pair, who won hearts with their chemistry in Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019), have long been rumoured to be more than just co-stars. Their closeness over the years has fueled speculation, but both actors have remained tight-lipped about their personal lives.
While no pictures from the ceremony have been released yet, reports suggest that the couple may make their relationship official soon with a public announcement.
As for the wedding, buzz suggests that February 2026 has been earmarked as the tentative date. This is Rashmika Mandanna’s second engagement. The actress was previously engaged to actor Rakshit Shetty in 2017 after the success of Kirik Party, but the engagement was called off in 2018. Around the same period, she met Vijay Deverakonda, sparking rumours of their bond. Vijay, meanwhile, has never publicly confirmed any relationship, though he was briefly linked to Ananya Panday during the promotions of Liger.
