Jayanti Chauhan, Vice Chairperson of Bisleri, has been instrumental in driving the iconic bottled water brand’s growth and innovation. Daughter of Ramesh and Zainab Chauhan, she joined Bisleri at the age of 24, taking charge of the Delhi office. Starting from the ground up, she modernized operations and automated processes, shaping the brand’s future. 

Raised in Delhi, Mumbai, and New York, Jayanti’s diverse upbringing gave her a global perspective. She studied Product Development at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FIDM), Los Angeles. Her educational journey also included Fashion Styling at Istituto Marangoni Milano, diplomas in Fashion Styling and Photography from the London College of Fashion, and a degree in Arabic from SOAS, University of London. 

In 2011, she expanded her role, leading the Mumbai office. Her global exposure and experience in fashion brought fresh perspectives to Bisleri’s Sales and Marketing operations. She played a key role in developing advertising strategies and refining brand positioning.

Under her leadership, Bisleri diversified its portfolio, introducing products like Vedica Natural Mineral Water for the luxury market, fizzy fruit drinks, and Bisleri Hand Purifier. Jayanti’s innovative approach has streamlined operations and positioned Bisleri as a forward-thinking brand.

In a bold move, Jayanti rejected Tata Group’s Rs 7,000 crore offer to acquire Bisleri. Her decision to retain ownership underscores her commitment to preserving the brand’s legacy. 

With her vision and dedication, Jayanti Chauhan continues to drive Bisleri’s growth, ensuring the family-owned brand remains a market leader in the beverage industry.
