Resignation reflecting CFO's attitude goes viral
Having the courage to leave a job is difficult because of the unpredictability of the job market. However, there are some resignations that will leave you in splits and question employee’s attitude:
Recently, CFO Rinku Patel, of Mitshi India Ltd, a BSE listed company, with a market cap of ₹20.22 crore, submitted his resignation by writing on a note book and picture went viral on the internet.
Rinku Patel wrote the resignation letter to the managing director of Mitshi India on a handwritten note on a page borrowed from kid’s notebook. “With the respect, I hereby inform you that I will be resigning from the job of CFO with immediate effect due to my personal reasons. It was great pleasure and excellent experience working for your organisation,” the resignation letter read.
The resignation has been accepted.
Another instance, where Industrialist Harsh Goenka, had shared a hilarious image of an employee’s resignation letter went viral earlier last year.
The letter said,
‘Maza Nahi Aaraha…’.
Written by someone called Rajesh, which shows the writer’s carefree approach.
While some found it perfect short and to the point it got a mixed response. This also left people with many questions:
Is the employer expected to be an entertainer so that employees have fun all the time?
What if the employer is not having fun working with the employee? Can he also send a similar letter to fire him?
Generally, there is a proper chain of people to whom one must contact for the resignation.
