Rochem waste processing plant in Hadapsar catches fire
Rochem, the waste processing plant in Hadapsar on October 18, 2020 caught fire. Hadapsar Corporator Yogesh Sasane informed that the plant was under repair for the last two years. Also for the past few days we have not been allowing any dumping vehicles to dump waste in the plant. Residents of Hill side society too halted the dumping today morning. And it is three hours after the protest that the plant catches fire. We definitely know that this is a pre-planned step.”
This is the second time that the plant has caught fire in the last two years.
Today morning the dumping vehicles were sent back by the Corporator Yogesh Sasane and residents of the area.
