RT-PCR not compulsory for maids, restaurant staff and delivery boys

Pune Municipal Corporation Commissioner Vikram Patil on April 17, 2021 issued a notification giving a big respite to several people working in various sectors.  

1. All shops supplying to Essential / Emergency services and products manufacturing may operate only for supplying to Essential services and product manufacturers. No retail sale / operations permitted.
2. Employees / workers of following establishments are EXEMPTED  from RTPCR/ RAT/ TruNAT/ CBNAATetc tests*- E-commerce – Hotels, bars, restaurant staff and persons giving home delivery- Private vehicle drivers / owners.- Newspaper printing and delivery/distribution workers. – Domestic workers, drivers, cooks, helpers, nursing assistants for senior citizens.- It is informed that all those in the above categories should get vaccinated as per Government Of India guidelines.
3. Food mess should operate only for parcel service for all days of the week between 7 am – 8 pm.
4. Wine shops may operate by offering home delivery as per the state excise department rules from Monday to Friday between 7 am to 6 pm. [ad id=’5660′]
5. Opticians may operate from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 6 pm.
6. 100 percent production by the Oxygen producing  companies should be used only for medical purposes. 
7. All related earlier notifications remain valid till further notice.
8. These orders are in force from April 17, 2021  and are applicable in the jurisdiction of Pune Municipal Corporation.
