A Wakad based running club welcome 2021 with a 48 hours ceaseless relay run
A Wakad based running club, Sports Shack Athletics group has set a record of running relay for straight 48 hours in the premises of Park Street Society in Wakad.
The relay race went straight for 48 hours, started on 29 December on 10 am and ended on 31 December at 10 am. Children from the age group of 16 – 22 years old participated in the relay run and have bid a goodbye to the traumatic 2020.
One of the club founders, while talking to Pune Pulse said, “We wanted to bid a goodbye to the 2020 in an athelete fashion. We were ceaseless in relay for straight 48 hours, because the year has flopped many businesses and paused the world. We wanted to end the streak thrown by the year.”
The participants have amazed the area citizens with their achievement and the thought process to bring an end to the year in a very sportive manner.
