After setting the box office on fire, Saiyaara is now preparing for its highly anticipated digital debut. Directed by Mohit Suri, this romantic drama introduced fresh faces Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, and within weeks, the duo has managed to win over audiences with their heartfelt performances as Krish Kapoor and Vaani Batra. Now, for those who missed catching it in theatres—or simply want to relive the magic—the film is all set to arrive on your screens very soon.

While fans had been speculating about the film’s OTT release for weeks, things became clearer thanks to an unexpected reveal from a key figure in the Yash Raj Films (YRF) family. Shanoo Sharma, YRF’s long-time casting director and a key part of Saiyaara’s journey, took to Instagram to share what looks like the final word on the film’s streaming date.

When and Where Can You Watch Saiyaara Online?

In a recent Instagram post, Shanoo Sharma re-shared a story featuring a poster of Saiyaara along with a short but exciting message: “Streaming from September 12, Netflix.” While the official confirmation from the producers is still pending, the post seems to have all but confirmed that the film will land on Netflix next month.

The September 12 release debunks earlier rumors suggesting that the film would arrive on OTT closer to Diwali in October. The news has already created a stir among fans, with social media brimming with excitement. Comments under the post included everything from heart emojis by Ahaan Panday’s mother, Deanne Panday, to heartfelt messages from fans calling the film a “feel-good watch” and “the kind of movie to rewatch every Sunday.”

Even as it prepares for its streaming release, Saiyaara continues to perform strongly in theatres. Since its release on July 18, the film has not only drawn in massive crowds but also broken box office records. As per industry tracker Sacnilk, Saiyaara collected ₹1.35 crore on its fourth Monday alone, taking its 25-day domestic total to ₹319.85 crore.

Globally, the film has crossed ₹531 crore in gross earnings. Of this, ₹382.5 crore came from the Indian box office, while overseas markets contributed ₹148.5 crore. This remarkable performance is a testament to the film’s appeal, proving that fresh talent, when backed by strong storytelling, can still bring audiences to theatres in large numbers.

One of the biggest surprises came during Saiyaara’s opening weekend, when the film managed to outperform the first weekend collections of 2019’s Kabir Singh. With ₹83 crore in net collections across its first three days, Saiyaara set a new benchmark for romantic dramas in India. Comparatively, Kabir Singh had made ₹71 crore during its opening weekend—despite having a more widespread release and bigger stars.

This achievement is especially noteworthy given that both Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda were making their Bollywood debuts. Yet, their onscreen chemistry and the emotional depth of the film captured hearts almost instantly.

So, for those who haven’t yet experienced the emotional rollercoaster of Saiyaara, or for those who want to watch it all over again—mark your calendars. If the buzz is anything to go by, Saiyaara will be available to stream on Netflix from September 12, offering a second chance to fall in love with Krish and Vaani. Until then, fans are keeping their fingers crossed for an official announcement from the makers. But if Shanoo Sharma’s post is anything to go by, the countdown has already begun.
