Salaar: Telangana Government Approves 1 AM, 4 AM Shows And Ticket Price Hikes
Prabhas’ “Salaar : Part One – Ceasefire” is poised to make a significant impact at the box office upon its theatrical release on December 22. With a staggering advance booking record of 6,78,292 tickets and a day 1 collection of ₹14.88 crore, the action-drama has garnered immense anticipation. In response to the high demand for tickets and the overwhelming fan enthusiasm, the Telangana government has issued a notice granting Mythri Movie Distributors permission for “additional shows, benefit shows, and a ticket price hike.”
The official notice specifies that, following a thorough examination, the government permits the screening of six shows at 4:00 am on December 22, 2023, in Telangana State for the movie “Salaar.” Additionally, there is an approved ticket price increase of Rs.65/- for single screens and Rs.100/- for multiplexes from December 22, 2023, to December 28, 2023, throughout the state.
Furthermore, the government has authorized the screening of the film as part of a benefit show in several prominent theaters in Hyderabad. According to the notice, this special show will commence from 1:00 am on December 22 (Friday). Given Prabhas’ massive fan following in Telangana and the tremendous success of Prashanth Neel’s “KGF” in the Telugu states, the excitement surrounding “Salaar” is entirely expected.
Meanwhile, iconic filmmaker SS Rajamouli officially purchased the first ticket for the film in Hyderabad. Hombale Films shared an image capturing the special moment featuring Prabhas, Prashanth Neel, and Prithviraj Sukumaran with Rajamouli, stating, “Legendary Director SS Rajamouli Garu buys the first ticket for #SalaarCeaseFire in Nizam.”
