Second Firing at Kapil Sharma’s Canada Café: Bishnoi Gang Claims Responsibility, Issues Death Threat Over Salman Khan Show Invite
Famous comedian Kapil Sharma’s café in Surrey, Canada, was targeted in a fresh round of gunfire, just weeks after a previous shooting. The attack comes days after Sharma invited Bollywood actor Salman Khan to the launch of his Netflix show, triggering a threat from gangster Harry Boxer of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
According to reports, six rounds were fired at ‘Kaps Café’. A nine-second video of the incident has surfaced online, clearly capturing the sound of repeated gunfire. Fortunately, no one was injured. Surrey Police have launched an investigation.
A social media post, purportedly from the Goldie Dhillon and Lawrence Bishnoi gang, has claimed responsibility for the attack. The message read, “Jai Shri Ram, Sat Shri Akal. Ram Ram to all brothers. We had called him, but he did not hear the ring, so we had to take action. If we do not hear the ring even now, we will take further action soon in Mumbai.”
Harry Boxer’s audio threat has also gone viral, in which he warns, “I will kill anyone who works with Salman Khan. No more threats, I will shoot directly in the chest. Whoever works with him will be responsible for their own death.”
However, no independent verification of the claim has been made so far. Surrey Police authorities have not shared detail about the firing at Kaps Cafe so far. Further details are awaited.
Officers are still speaking to witnesses and working to obtain CCTV footage. They said, “Once that’s done, we’ll have a better idea of what happened.”
This is the second firing at Sharma’s café in less than a month. The first incident occurred on July 11, but no arrests were made in that case either. Both Canadian and Mumbai police are now verifying the latest claims and assessing potential security concerns.
