Sex Racket Exposed at Pashan Spa; Pune Crime Branch Rescues Three Women
Pune City Police’s Crime Branch, working through the Anti-Human Trafficking and Immoral Traffic Prevention Unit, recently uncovered a sex racket operating under the cover of a spa in Pashan. The daring operation resulted in the rescue of three women who had been deceived with promises of easy money and forced into the illegal trade.
The case came to light following a complaint lodged by police constable Ishwar Mhatardev Andhale. Investigations revealed that the accused, Amar Dattu Kamble, had rented a flat at Minister Residency near Sai Chowk and was using it as a front for the illicit business—without the property owner’s knowledge.
Further inquiry confirmed that the women were trapped and coerced into prostitution, exposing a troubling network of exploitation hidden behind the spa’s legitimate appearance. The police are now intensifying their efforts to dismantle the wider trafficking ring and have assured strong legal action against those involved.
