Shah Rukh Khan to Seek Eye Treatment in the USA
Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan is set to travel to the USA for eye treatment after an unsuccessful attempt in Mumbai. As per information, on July 29, Khan visited a hospital in Mumbai for his eye condition, but the treatment could not proceed. Consequently, he is scheduled to fly to the USA for the necessary medical care.
This isn’t the first time Khan has faced eye issues. In 2014, he underwent minor eye surgery and expressed gratitude to Dr. Burjor Banaji for restoring his vision.
More recently, Shah Rukh Khan experienced health concerns in May. He was reportedly hospitalized in Ahmedabad’s KD Hospital after suffering a heat stroke during an IPL match while supporting his team, the Kolkata Knight Riders. The incident, attributed to dehydration, required immediate medical attention. His close friend, actress Juhi Chawla, and her husband Jay Mehta, were seen visiting him at KD Hospital.
In a May interview with News18, Juhi Chawla assured fans that Shah Rukh was doing much better. She stated, “Shah Rukh was not feeling too well last night but he is being attended to and was feeling much better this evening. God willing, he will soon be up, and in the stands on the weekend, cheering the team, as we play the finals.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s commitment to his health is evident as he seeks advanced treatment abroad. Fans around the world are hopeful for his swift recovery and are eager to see him back in action soon. Khan’s recent health challenges have been a point of concern for his fans.
Shah Rukh was last seen in the film “Dunki” (2023) and is reportedly working on Sujoy Ghosh’s “King” currently.
