Shardiya Navratra Utsav begins at Chatushringi temple from Oct 7

 Chatushringi temple trust is all set to begin the nine day Shardiya Navratra Utsav from October 7. This year, the temple has also made arrangements of online darshan for its devotees. There won’t be any VIP Darshan facility this year.Â
The navratra utsav shall be held from October 7 to 15 (Dasham) – Dussera, informed chairman Nitin Angal and executive trustee Shridhar Angal.
On Thursday morning 8 am Abhishek, Rudrabhishek, Mahapuja, Mahavastra Arpan would be held while Ghatasthapna would be held at 9.30 am. Everyday maha Aarti will be held at 10 am and 8 pm. Temple will be open for darshan from 5 am to 9 pm everyday. This year the temple manager is Dilip Angal while Paurohitya would be performed by priest Narayan Kanade.
On October 14, Navachandi Homa would be performed at 6 pm. A simple yet traditional Simmolanghan yatra would be held on the tenth day, i.e Dussehra at 5 pm on October 15.
Use of face mask, covers, sanitizer is a must at temple premises.

To ensure safety and security of the devotees and premises, an insurance cover of Rs 2 crores is being taken. A total of 21 CCTV surveillance systems have been installed at the temple premises.
The temple is awaiting for final approval from the Pune Municipal Corporation for renovation of the temple structure and soon the work shall begin wherein a provision of escalator shall be added which shall benefit the senior citizens.
