Bhojpuri actor and politician Pawan Singh has once again made headlines, this time for a personal controversy involving his second wife, Jyoti Singh. A video of Jyoti crying outside Pawan’s Lucknow house went viral on social media, sparking concern and debate among fans. In the clip, Jyoti can be seen breaking down, saying she was not allowed to enter her husband’s home. She also claimed that police officers stopped her, telling her that Pawan had filed an FIR against her.

The emotional video quickly spread online, showing Jyoti pleading for justice and threatening to take her own life if she did not get help. “Aaj main sirf samaj ke kehne par yahan aayi thi, bas yeh din dekhne ke liye. Agar abhi bhi insaaf nahin mila, to koi umeed nahin hai. Main ghar mein zehar kha kar mar jaungi; iss ghar se meri laash jaayegi,” she said tearfully.

According to reports, Jyoti tried to enter the house but was stopped by police officers stationed outside. They told her that there was a summons from an inspector, but no formal case had been filed against her yet. The officers also requested that she come to the police station instead.

Jyoti, visibly upset, said she was being “publicly humiliated.” One of the officers confirmed that there were ongoing legal issues between the two, including maintenance-related disputes. He also mentioned that Jyoti had earlier made serious accusations, including one of murder, which Jyoti denied. She said her only complaint was about financial support.

What Did Jyoti Singh Accuse Pawan Singh Of?

Jyoti didn’t stop at claiming she was stopped at the gate. She also accused Pawan of cheating. In the viral video, Jyoti alleged that her husband had taken another woman to a hotel while still being married to her. “Yeh samaj ki seva karenge? Yeh, Pawan ji seva karenge jo apni patni ko nikalne ke liye police bula rahe hain? Chunav ke dauraan apni patni ka istemal kiya, aur phir doosri ladkiyon ko lekar hotel gaye,” she said, her voice filled with anger and pain.

She claimed that she came forward because she could not tolerate what happened. “Chunav ke 20 din baad Pawan ji humare saamne ek ladki ko lekar hotel gaye the. Hum ek patni hoke yeh bardaasht nahin kar sakte the, isiliye hum chale gaye,” Jyoti added.

What Did Pawan Singh Say in His Defence?

After the video caused a stir, Pawan Singh released a statement denying all the claims made by Jyoti. He said he never stopped her from coming into his home and that he, in fact, invited her inside when she arrived. “Kya yeh sach nahi hai ki kal subah aap mere society mein aayi, toh maine respect ke saath aapko apne ghar bulaya aur lagbhag 1:30 ghante humari baatcheet hui?” Pawan wrote in his Hindi statement.

He added that during their conversation, Jyoti kept repeating only one request, that he should help her contest in elections, something he said was “not in his control.” “Aapke taraf se sirf ek hi rutt tha: mujhe election ladwayiye kaise bhi, jo ki mere bas ka nahi hai,” Pawan said.

Why Were Police Present at Pawan Singh’s House?

Pawan also clarified why police officers were already present outside his residence. He said he did not call them to stop Jyoti but to prevent any untoward incident. “There was a misunderstanding spread in society that I called the police, whereas the truth is that the police were present there from the morning so that whatever happened would be in their presence,” he explained.

He added that the officers were there to ensure safety for everyone involved, as some people accompanying Jyoti were also present. “I know only one thing in my life: the public is like God to me. Would I ever hurt the sentiments of the people because of whom I have reached here?” Pawan wrote.

Before coming to Lucknow, Jyoti had shared a Facebook post addressed to Pawan, announcing she was on her way to meet him and his family. “Dear husband, Mr. Pawan Singh, I am coming to your residence in Lucknow tomorrow to meet you and your family. I will wait for you there for two days,” she wrote.

However, what was meant to be a private reunion turned into a public breakdown, with cameras capturing her distress.
