Shirdi, May 14, 2025 – In a significant move, the Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan has introduced a revised donation policy granting VIP aarti privileges to devotees who contribute ₹10,000 or more. Previously, only those donating ₹25,000 and above were eligible for this privilege.
The new policy, modeled on the lines of the Tirupati Balaji temple, aims to make special worship services more accessible to a larger section of devotees while also encouraging contributions to the temple trust.
Key Highlights of the Revised Donation Policy:
- ₹10,000 to ₹50,000 donations: Eligible for one VIP aarti pass for up to five family members.
- ₹50,000 to ₹1 lakh: Devotees will receive two VIP aarti passes and one free VIP darshan annually for five family members.
- ₹1 lakh to ₹10 lakh: Donors are entitled to two VIP aartis and lifetime annual VIP darshan for one visit per year.
- ₹10 lakh to ₹15 lakh: Benefits include two VIP aartis per year and lifetime VIP darshan for five family members annually.
- Donations above ₹50 lakh: Donors receive three VIP aartis annually and lifetime VIP darshan twice a year for their family.
Additionally, the trust announced that even two early entrants from the general darshan queue will now be selected for VIP aarti access, ensuring a gesture of inclusivity.
The updated donation policy is expected to streamline contributions and enhance the devotional experience for donors at the Shirdi temple.
