Solapur-Mumbai Air Route Restored After 16 Years: Reach Mumbai in Just 70 Minutes at ₹3,999

After a long wait of 16 years, Solapur residents’ dream of a direct flight to Mumbai has finally come true. 

The much-anticipated Solapur–Mumbai flight service was inaugurated today (Wednesday) by Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, marking a historic moment for the city. Along with this, Solapur–Bengaluru air service has also commenced operations from today.

The service, launched by Star Air, a part of the Sanjay Ghodawat Group, will connect Solapur directly with Mumbai and Bengaluru.

 This makes Solapur the 31st destination in Star Air’s expanding aviation network. The introductory airfare for the Solapur–Mumbai route has been set at ₹3,999.

Star Air’s first flight took off from Mumbai Airport today, with the official flag-off ceremony graced by Deputy CM Fadnavis. The flights will operate four days a week — Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.

• Flight S5 334: Departs Solapur at 2:40 PM, arrives in Mumbai at 3:45 PM
