Residents and IT employees warn of accidents on pothole-ridden, debris-strewn stretch; demand urgent action from PCMC and PMRDA

NCP MP Supriya Sule has raised serious concerns over the deplorable state of roads in the Megapolis Saffron area of Hinjewadi Phase 3, where daily commuters are struggling with mud, potholes, and unsafe conditions.

The stretch has reportedly turned into a death trap for two-wheeler riders and motorists alike, with several minor and major accidents already being reported. The road is filled with potholes, mud,  debris, and lacks even basic signage, making navigation extremely risky, especially during peak hours.

Despite repeated follow-ups by citizens with agencies such as PMRDA and MIDC, no repair work has been undertaken so far. Sule has urged the state government to take immediate corrective action, stressing that residents, IT professionals, and local commuters are forced to risk their lives every day.

Local residents and IT employees have issued urgent appeals to PCMC and PMRDA for immediate inspection and repair of the damaged road. Until such action is taken, commuters have been advised to exercise extreme caution while crossing the affected stretch.
